Overview
TOBIASSEN PARK HERB WALK Meet medicinal and edible plants of the Nevada City region with Heather Luna. Learn the properties of local plants. Discuss harvesting techniques and medicinal preparations. This walk will be held at Tobiassen Park located behind the Nevada County Library. This is an easy short walk around the pond hosting a diversity of native and naturalized botanical species. Heather is a well seasoned herbalist, forager, wildcrafter, naturalist, and all around botanical wise woman. Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly. * * * * * * * When: Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10 am - 1 pm PST Where: 980 Helling Way, Nevada City, CA 95959 We will meet at the far north end of the Nevada County Library parking lot. From here we will walk the short distance behind the library through the playing field towards the pond. There are restrooms located inside the library.
