Engage in the Healing Power of Nature…

Join Heather Luna and learn to build your own medicine garden.

It is called a "Medicine Garden" not only because we will plant medicinal herbs, but because we intentionally help heal the land.

Regenerative gardening is a conscious practice of building and cultivating healthy soil ecology that helps both us and the Earth.

Each day will include a medicine garden ritual to connect us with the land.

Learn to Cultivate Living Soil

This is a project oriented course in applying key principles from permaculture and regenerative agriculture to create a medicinal herb garden. Learn to create living soil and a sustainable garden ecology.

The purpose of this garden project is to create a sustainable ecosystem that contributes to the greater landscape. To achieve this goal our gardening practices will include disturbing the soil as little as possible, keeping it covered with organic matter, enhancing biodiversity through species, and the integration of compost, pollinators, and animal life for developing a garden ecosystem.

Once established, the "soil sponge" creates a living food web which plays an important role in sequestering carbon emissions and producing amazingly healthy plants with little effort.

Learn about Medicinal Herbs

We will muse over edible and medicinal uses for many wild plants and common weeds as well as applications for each of the herbs selected for this garden. We will spend ample time with our nose in the plants, deepening our relationship with them and sharing their many uses.

(Heather write more info here...)

This medicine garden project will apply elements to regenerate soil and create habitat for a healthy co-existence with wildlife.

This dynamic establishes health for the soil, plants, people, and the planet.
