Your health history and medical information will be discussed anonymously to preserve client confidentiality.
"In the practice of herbalism, we seek to treat the whole person, not the disease. In doing so herbalists employ healing methods intended to increase vitality and support the natural forces within us to restore balance on all levels."
~Heather Luna
Our Clinicians are thoughtful, thorough and have a true desire to help people feel better. They take time and care in preparing custom health plans for their clients. These health plans do not rely on herbs alone. Some of the most important aspects of health are related to how well we care for ourselves. Are we getting enough sleep? Do we take time to move our bodies? Are we getting good nutrition to help fuel our days? Our Clinicians take the time to listen to your health journey and find ways to support healthy changes. Skillful applications of herbs can help nudge the body back to a state of balance.
-
Our clinic is for non-emergency health concerns.
-
We work with herbs, nutrition and lifestyle changes to educate and empower individuals to take charge of their own health
-
All herbal formulas and remedies we recommend are offered at a discounted price to you.
-
All appointments take place in a Zoom meeting.

How our clinicians help

How the ACORN Clinic works
Meet the Clinician - Free 15 min. Discovery Call
Schedule a Free 15 minute Discovery Call with the clinician you are interested in working with. You will be able to ask some preliminary questions and get a feel for how our clinic works and what to expect from the clinician.
ACORN Clinic Intake Bundle
In order for you to learn the most about your health and receive your custom health plan, we bundle the Intake Appointment and the first Follow-up Appointment together. These will be two separate appointments. Your Intake Appointment is the first appointment and longest. This is where your clinician will listen to your whole health history. They will ask you detailed questions and find out as much information as they can to better understand your current state of health. This appointment takes between 2 and 3 hours. At the end of this appointment, you will schedule the Follow-up Appointment. This second appointment is 1 hour in length. Before this appointment, your clinician will spend time researching your health concerns and creating a custom health plan for you. These findings will be discussed with you in the Follow-up Appointment. Once these appointments are completed you are an established client of the ACORN Clinic and you are eligible for Continued Care Appointments.

Just because it's natural, doesn't mean it's safe
Safely using herbs to help improve health is something we take seriously.
With the vast amount of information about herbs and natural medicine available online it’s all too easy to be swindled or misled by the market place and end up with a remedy that is more likely to hurt you than it is to help. We strongly encourage that you seek the guidance of someone trained in adverse reactions, constitutional assessment, and cautions that come with herbs and natural healing. We’ve been trained to help you find the therapies that are right for you and avoid those that may cause you harm.
When it comes to natural medicine there is never a one size fits all remedy for everyone. This is even true when two or more people have the same condition. Turmeric may be the perfect herb for one person, but may cause adverse reactions in another. This is because there are different root causes to the condition, and individual constitution. As herbalists we seek to address healing at the root of illness rather than use the allopathic methods of symptom suppression. We have used this approach in our clinic to achieve transformative, long-lasting health improvements, with little risk of side effects.
