Overview

COTTAGE GARDENS at the Empire Mine State Park Join Heather Luna for a guided tour of medicinal plants inside Nevada County’s oldest and most loved botanical gardens. Participants will learn plant identification, medicinal applications, harvesting practices and medicine making tips for well over two dozen herbs. This walk highlights a wide variety of medicinal plants, a rose garden, aquatic herbs, and an arboretum with incredible specimens of medicinal trees that can not be found anywhere else in the county. Heather is a well seasoned herbalist, forager, wildcrafter, naturalist, and all around botanical wise woman.
