Garden Harvest Field Class - 10/7/23

Overview

Help us bring in the end of season harvest at the Medicine Garden! Take an herb walk tour of our school farm, learn actions, uses, processing skills, and medicine making techniques for over a dozen herbs. Participants will have the opportunity to gather baskets of medicinal plants to take home for their own medicine chest. This is one of the most popular field classes of the year, and this is the last time it will be offered at this incredible location! No experience necessary! Open to the community! Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly. This is a medicine-making class, all materials provided. * * * * * * * When: Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10 am - 1 pm PST Where: The ACORN School's Medicine Garden - address given upon registration, location is just two miles from town. Cost: Community Price $50 ; Current ACORN Students get a discounted price, please contact the school for details. What to Bring: Collecting bags or baskets, garden snips for harvesting, a blanket or towel to sit on, plenty of drinking water, and your love of plants. Questions?
