EVERGREENS HERB WALK Even in the dead of winter there is an abundance of medicine to be gathered. Discover practical uses of the conifer trees of Nevada County. Learn the differences between pines, cedar, and fir and a variety of ways to use them as a food and medicine. Our discussion will include plant identification, ethical harvesting practices, and medicinal preparations. Join Heather Luna for a gentle stroll through Pioneer park as we engage in the most abundant medicines available in our own backyard, the trees. No experience necessary! Open to the community! Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly. * * * * * * * When: Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10 am - 1 pm PST Where: Empire Mine State Historic Park (10791 E. Empire St, Grass Valley, CA 95945) *The day before class, you will receive an email with specific location directions on where we will meet up.
